Le Cirque du Soleil has arrived to La Tribu! Have you ever seen the aerialists and wished you could dance as gracefully as they do hanging from those silks? Well, everything is practice, and yours can start here.

It looks quite easy but actually this practice requires a lot of discipline… But no worries, it will provide your body with A LOT of strength & flexibility, PLUS all the cool tricks and skills you’ll be able to do hanging from the sky. Worth it, right?

A cacao ceremony is a guided sacred medicinal ritual. We will start with smudging with sacred herbs, call in an intention, warm ceremonial cacao will be served, and then you will be guided through a journaling ritual followed by a deeply relaxing meditation. You will go on your journey accompanied by music and light bodywork.

Let’s explain it easy: flexibility will help you get all those super cool poses we all see around IG but flexibility alone can actually cause an injury quite easily. Remember this: flexibility is passive. mobility on the other side…is the ACTIVE capacity that your body has of using that flexibility. Putting it easy: strength + flexibility combined to get to your maximum range of motion which will make your joints way more stable. So…we’re asking: do you want to have healthier joints (+ overall body) and be able to move like a 16 year old for way longer + increase your performance in any physical activity? Yep, we thought so! Do you love handstanding? Arm balancing? Well, this class will help you get there faster. BUT if you’re not into that, you will still love this class. Would you rather strengthen your core with the typical bicycle crunch or hang in L shape from the rings? We’ll always pick the rings… If that’s your answer too, move your a** to class!

HATHA yoga + PRANAYAMA

Hatha-style asanas to mobilize the chest and pelvis in preparation for meditative pranayama. In order to develop our lungs, increasing our breathing volume and breathing coordination we use the ancient practice of traditional Indian pranayama (Kriya yoga lahiri mahasaya tradition) with special rhythms. Pranayama in this variation supports a meditative attentive breathing based on our chakras and channels in the body. We will try to slow down our breath and increase the pauses between inhalation and exhalation to change the gas composition of the blood with time (more CO2 and less O2). This will improve the capillary blood circulation, increase the brain’s plasticity and rebuild the work of the brain’s hemispheres. In this class, we dive into the core elements of yoga through a unique combination of asanas, breaking down each pose to enhance your individual yoga skills. During our Posture Clinic, we’ll focus on key target areas and principles. This sequence is designed to integrate the fundamental structure into a flowing experience, allowing you to deepen your understanding of the practice and to maximize the benefits of your own practice. We encourage you to bring along your notes. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned yogi, La Tribu’s Fundamental Yoga Class offers something special for everyone.

VINYASA MASTERCLASS

Yoga is union and not just any union but your union. So feel your breath, feel your body, and connect with your breath to connect to and move your body.

Through this 90′ creative vinyasa sequenced masterclass, we will deepen our connection to asanas while holding postures for deep, long breaths. We will then deepen our connection to the present moment by flowing through the sequence connecting movement to breath. As we repeat the flow, we will begin to drop all the verbal queues so that you can truly find your flow, connect to your yoga, your union, your flow. It may look like the one you just learned, or it may look like your version of it. Regardless, it is your flow in your pursuit to find your union, so drop the expectations and join to “Find Your Flow!”

Group Acupuncture

Group Acupuncture involves receiving a treatment based on observations of the compexion, height, body structure, and tone of voice, all relate to the 5 Elements, as well as signs and patterns picked up in the pulses, tongue, eyes and breathing.

The focus is more on healing and strengthening what is already there rather than alleviating ‘dis-ease’. This form of treatment is deeply balancing and empowering for you to come back to your true nature.

Join us for a brief talk on Traditional Chinese Medicine followed by an intuitive Acupuncture treatment.
